SOME OF OUR PROJECTS AT A GLANCE
Mete Men – Lending a Helping Hand
“What we have learned in one long year of mourning after Haiti’s earthquake is that an exogenous plan of reconstruction – one that is profit-driven, exclusionary, conceived of and implemented by non-Haitians – cannot reconstruct Haiti.” – J.B. Aristide
Our mission is to inspire and enable the poorest strata of the population in Haiti to have a productive future, to help protect their basic human rights and allow them to make a difference in their country’s destiny. We are guided by the vision of promoting self-sufficiency and independence by lending a hand to existing grassroots organizations.
