The January 12, 2010 earthquake, the world’s largest natural disaster, saw the death of 300,000 people and the devastation of southern Haiti.  Repercussions have been felt throughout the country and continue to this day.  HPSP continues to support small orphanages, schools, artist and farming cooperatives and sustainable living projects throughout Haiti. Our reforestation project in Bois Neuf is growing and planting 450,000 trees yearly.
